With a ceremonial opening with participation of etnic-group Humski glas,and with the appropriate speeches of minister of culture and sport in the government of Federation BiH Gavrilo Grahovac,the city Neum mayor Đure Obradović and Jurinko Rajič, the founder and director of Neum animated film festival, the third NAFF2008 was opened.
During the working part of the festival from 11.01-18.01 there will be showed 180 films from about forty countries from each continent,which are selected by Jurinko Rajič among more than 400 candidatet films. On this festival working cap there are about fifty participants from several towns in the region,where from there have been about ten reputated professors working,in this type of art.

Also,during the time of festival the production of the film Stara kuća sred Mostara will also have been done ,which for the same song name written by Anđelko Vuletić,the script made Jurinko Rajič. It will be the fourth film in the production of this festival which has in three years aclaimed the world wide known reputation. The working part has no competitioning character but their young students will be daily marking the watched films and so be able to choose 50 animated films for the summer competitioning part of the festival NAFF2008.

NAFF is supposed to be held In a beautiful surroundings of Hotel Zenit. Đuro Obradović and the director of NAFF,mr.Jurinko Rajič have spoken to many representatives of media and well known guests from the public life in BiH.

As a part of the opening programme, the present guests have had a chance to see performance of the members of HKUD Humski glas who have danced a traditional ethnic dance ''Lindžo'' and a girl klapa choir ''Lira''. By the time the first competitioning programme has finished, the guests had a chance to enjoy the fireworks.
The expert jury contending Sarah van den Boom, the president, France, Miro Barnjak, BiH, Vladimir Stanić, Serbia, Mirza Ibrahimpašić, BiH, and the young jury inclueding Rajna Rajič,Dejan Mijatović, Katarina Brajković and Jasenko Gavrić.

Sarah - Brigaud - Van Den Boom
Born to parents who were both sculptors and drawers, sister of an architect, of a video artist and a future designer, Sarah Brigaud was brought up in an artist studio. Student in the Met workshop of Penninghen and then at the Ecole Nationale des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, she gets her degree with her student short film "That's nothing" then works on her first professional short film "Novecento, pianist", adaptation of the famous writing from Alessandro Baricco, which had a huge success in festivals and was broadcasted in "Court circuit" on the german and french channel "Arte" in june 2005... She then workes as animator or assistant on several movies, then directed several commercials for Acme Filmworks, in Hollywood. She currently works on her new short film "Skeleton Woman".
Mirza Ibrahimpašić
Born on 18th March 1954 in Glamoč. Graduated in high school for fine arts, graduated in 1977 at the Sarajevo Art Academy. He is working with grafic design, scenography. Was teaching drawing on School of fine arts in Sarajevo. Lives and works as a freelance artist in Sarajevo.
Vladimir Stanić
Studied Talian language and literature in Beograd. Working in animation over 30 years. One of the founders of Bikšiš studio. Author of six films. Was teaching animation on the film school of the Dunav film. Teacher of animation on the international children workshops of animated film in Vranje and Neum. As a constant teacher of animation, he has been working in a children workshop in Centre for animated film - ‘’CentAF’’, Čačak.
Miro Barnjak
Miro Barnjak- actor and producer. Owner of the production house Porta with the seat in Mostar, which is into film and theatre production. Permanent member of the acting ansamble of HNK in Mostar. Starred in films: ‘Crvena prašina’, ‘Tu’, ‘Konjanik’, ‘Sve džaba’ and ‘Živi i Mrtvi’ Producer of the film ‘Živi i mrtvi’ Coproducer of films: ‘Sve džaba’ and ‘Kino Lika’. Living and working in Mostar.
YOUNG JURY NAFF 2008
Katarina Brajković
Born in Zagreb in 1982. Lives in Čapljina. Graduated on the Faculty of Philosophy. in Mostar, section journalism. Worked as an editor and host of radio-shows related to film. Participant of the camp of animated film in Neum.
Dejan Mijatović
Dejan Mijatović was born in Banja Luka . Finished elementary and high school in Banja Luka, where he is studying at the Academy of art, section graphic. Into design of character for the animated films and graphic designs. Worked for Anigraph, Aquarius and Evron, where he is momentarily working on graphic designs. He is specially interested into illustrations and drawing comics.
Jasenko Gavrić
Born in 1988. in Sarajevo. Finished High school of fine arts and studies on Academy of art in Sarajevo. Participant of animated film workshops.
Rajna Rajič
Born in Makarska in 1992. Lives in Neum. Student of Secondary Language School in Metković. Interested in animation since childhood. Member of Studio Neum and part of working camps of animated films in Neum since 2003. Worked on few films in Studio Neum production.
